If you could see her face, you would see some major concentration going on. She'd even stop and erase and fix things. Julia had a real idea of what she wanted her little masterpiece to be!
This is one of my favorite milestones. Kris, she says the guy on the bottom is you. An exact likeness! And look at how proud Julia is of herself! She definitely has reason to be. I'm trying to dissect the wide open mouths on these little people-creatures she has made. Does this represent her love of talking and being in charge? Is it because her house is quite noisy? Is it because we just celebrated Halloween and the entire idea of trick-or treating has not escaped her mind since (and neither have all the ghouls and goblins that go with it? She asks if we can go trick-or-treating almost daily!) I don't know what it is, but I DO know, I love these first drawings of people my children make. And each of my children have interpreted the human body in such different ways at the age of about 3. It's like stepping into my child's brain and seeing things through their eyes in a real, physical way. Good job, my Jubes!

1 words of wisdom:
I LOVE THESE.
